Whitsbury Manor Stud 2024 Stallion Fees Announced

Whitsbury Manor Stud is pleased to announce the fees for its four stallions in 2024.
Joe Callan, Head of Bloodstock and Sales said: “Havana Grey will stand at an increased fee of £55,000. After another phenomenal year including dual Gr1 winner Vandeek and nine other stakes winners in Europe it is clear he is an elite stallion. We will continue to strictly limit his book to look after both the horse and our clients, so I hope people can understand if his book fills very quickly.
After another strong year Showcasing will again stand at £45,000. Firmly cemented as one of the leading sires in Europe, he has now sired over 130 Stakes horses to date – his strong year was highlighted by the victory of Dramatised in the Gr.2 Temple Stakes at Haydock along with Gr.1 performers Get Ahead and Swingalong. His progeny continued to prove popular in the sales ring with his yearlings selling up to 370,000gns.
New for 2024, Dragon Symbol will start his career at £8,000. First past the post in the Gr1 Commonwealth Cup and second in the Gr1 July Cup, he was rated five pounds higher than his illustrious stud mate Havana Grey so is ideally qualified for joining the Whitsbury roster.
Scat Daddy’s fast son Sergei Prokofiev will remain at £6,000 after his first yearlings sold well at the sales with two colts selling for 220,000gns at Tattersalls Book 1.
