Joe Callan Head of Bloodstock and Sales at Whitsbury Manor Stud, is pleased to announce the stallion fees for 2027.

Havana Grey will continue to have his fee listed as Private. This reflects the success we’ve had in managing his book to mares of 16.0hh or under, resulting in his best ever breeding season for mare numbers in foal.

He has enjoyed another outstanding season on the track, siring 16 individual stakes winners, five of these being 2yo’s which include Group 1 winner Orthodox. A truly remarkable achievement, especially considering his 3yo crop and older were conceived from £6,000 fees.

Showcasing will stand for a reduced fee of £20,000 which we feel offers superb value for a truly proven sire of 155 lifetime Stakes performers and 2026 yearling sales of 460,000gns, 260,000gns, €210,000 etc. His reputation also continues to grow as a broodmare sire, highlighted this year by top performers Orthodox, Evolutionist, Noble Exhibit etc.

Elite Status served an outstanding first book of 150 mares and remains at a fee of £8,000. As a Group winner at both two and three, who was rated superior to both his sire Havana Grey and grandsire Havana Gold, he represents breeders with a terrific commercial opportunity.

Dragon Symbol will also remain at £8,000 after covering books of more than 130 mares in each season. His first yearlings sold for up to 140,000gns and are keenly anticipated on the track next year.
